Truly inspiring
I wasn't expecting Moon Diary to be as long as it was. The truth is, flash movies are made by one or two persons generally, 30 minute flashes are regarded as needlessly prolonged pieces because of audience interest fading and workload being too great. So, I was not ready for the movie so to say. I think it doesn't matter because I really didn't notice time passing.
Moon Diary is delightfully imaginative, child-like but there's also a pinch of darker, adult humor. Or can anyone say a water-drinking cloud isn't delightfully imaginative and darkly humorous when you see it puke a rainbow?
Story does not end here. Moon Diary has a lot to give, it is like Hayao Miyazaki made a flash movie. Inspiring, it definitely is. Throughout this whole thiry minutes I was absorbing the scenes, backgrounds, characters - how much work there was put I cannot comprehend. Everything that inspires writing a story is a good thing.
To sum it all up: Moon Diary is something that will not fail to bring a smile in to your face. Beautiful work of art. Thank you.

Man oh man
I love Kol-Belov's style of simplified animation, it just makes everything so neat. I just can't get enough of itm because it fits perfectly into the brutal universe he is animating. There's an on-going theme about struggle in many of his flash movies, like Pustota and Bankomat and The Krypt. Now, I'm not sure what motivation Kol-Belov has which makes these movies. The obvious answer is the totalitarian system they had (still have?) in Russia back in the day, but I'm not sure if that's the only reason...
Anyway, the song The Krypt is the best industrial techno piece I have heard for a long time. Combining organs (which always reminds me of horror movies) with a mean drum machine is pure beauty. Still, it is too short in order to exploit the full amount of potential it has. Animation is, like I said, awesome and it fits the music well: straight-forwarded action. The tetris ending is kind of a question mark for me, but it kind of acts as a counter-balance for all the "action" this movie has.
Long story short: I can see some maturing in Kol-Belov's work and it is always nice to watch a new movie every now and then from him. I'd love to see more experimental flash movies from the author, because he really can make them!

Hey!
This has been my favorite quite a long time. When you're gonna make a sequel? This first episode has a great dialogue and it's beautiful. Short, but excellent movie - you really should put some effort and make episode 2!
